Simi Valley Days Parade!!!

It was soooooo AMAZING to get to ride in the Simi Valley Days Parade as Miss Simi Valley!! I felt soooo honored!!!! Also I got to hang with my Simi Teen, Simi Princesses, Ventura County, Santa Barbara County, and Conejo Valley, Sisters!!! Then I got to meet Elton Gallegly of US Congress and then the Mayor of Simi Valley!! and then ride in the parade!!!!! What an Amazing DAY!!! Can't wait to go to the CARNIVAL!!

The Taste of Simi Mixer!

Okay so after getting a hold of the Chamber of Commerce they gave me a list of events coming up that they would like me to appear for!!! The first one that was coming up was the Taste of Simi Mixer in Lost Canyon!! They invited me and Alexa (Miss Teen Simi Valley) to come in our crowns and banners and sell raffle tickets to support the community of Simi Valley and NOBODY SAID NO!! We sold soooo many raffle tickets and met a lot of great people!!! Over all we had a great time!!! Xoxo

Miss California National American Miss!

Yesterday my mom and I drove up to Anaheim to watch my very good friend Amanda compete in the Miss California Pageant for National American Miss!!!! As soon as we got there we went straight up to Amanda's hotel room to chat and get our tickets to the show, Amanda looked beautiful in her opening number outfit and she showed me the rest of her wardrobe because she had made top 5 in EVERY optional contest! (Talent, Spokesmodel, Casual Wear, Actress and Photogenic!) When the show started she did amazing in the opening number and was totally cute!!! Then in casual wear she had the cutest outfit I had ever seen!!! It was called "A day at Rodeo" and it was sooo adorable! then in her Spokesmodel speech she delivered it so gracefully and it was amazingly inspiring!! In Talent she did a very good jazz dance to "Maybe This Time" from Glee!!! I love that song and her dance really impressed me!! In the end Amanda got 2nd runner up in casual wear, 2nd runner up in spokesmodel, 2nd runner up in talent, 1st runner up in volunteer service, Best thank you note, 1st runner up in most promising model, 4th runner up in actress, 3rd runner up in photogenic, the state finalist award, the spirit of america award, a rose for Top 10 and she WON THE WHOLE PAGEANT!!! She is now Miss California Teen for NAM!!!!!! that is 12 awards!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!! I love you AMANDA! congrats!!! I can't wait to have our bling slumber party!! =]

The Ventura County Fair and Parade =]

This morning I woke up around FIVE in the morning today and got ready for The Ventura County Fair Parade =]. Met up with my Crown sisters in Moorpark and then we all followed each other to Ventura! The line up was around eight am so we had about two hours to kill!!! We spent those two hours by..........TAKING PICTURES OF COARSE!!! you can see all of them on my facebook! Then the parade began and we waved and smiled the whole way and of coarse I was put right behind Austin (Mr. Moorpark) Who everyone LOVED!!! and we screaming for especially the little girls!!! One even yelled "YOU'RE HOTT!!" It was sooooooo funny!!!! When the parade ended Alexa (Miss Teen Simi Valley) and I changed, got some food and then headed over to the FAIR! When we got there we rode as many rides as we could get on for FREE!! hahaha It was soooo much fun but I am terrified of heights!!!! THANKS A LOT ALEXA! lol there are some rides I will never ever ever EVER RIDE AGAIN!!! But the memories will last forever =] It was a BLAST =].

The Miss Antelope Valley Pageant!

Yesterday I arrived at the Miss Antelope Valley Pageant around 5:00pm where I met up with my moms cousin Stephanie who is part of the Miss Antelope Valley Committee, who (about a month ago) asked me if I could come make an appearance and sing a Taylor Swift song as entertainment! Obviously I accepted and had an awesome time! When I first showed up I was in a blue cocktail dress and my Miss Simi Valley crown and bannner, when I walked over to this HUGE set up they had for the current Miss Antelope Valley 2009 Lindsey, when I noticed that their perpetual crown (that means crown they have had for about 20 years that get continously passed down to every Miss Antelope Valley) was THE SAME ONE I WAS WEARING! What a trip!!!! They even asked me if I would ask my directors where they got it so that they could get a new one incase theirs gets damaged so Becky, Sandy, Patti, ect. If you are reading this, that info would be awesome =]. Then I went into the dressing room and met some of the contestants (there were 17) they were all so sweet and funny! They ALL did AMAZING! Then it was time to watch the pageant before it was time for me to sing.......or so I thought!!! They accidentally did the show out of order and had me sing WAYYY earlier then I was supposed to but it was okay I just walked on to the stage from the audience! which made me out of breathe but I felt really bad that I came across as unprepaired =[. So when I got to the microphone I said "I apologize! I was watching the show!!" In order to say (This is such an AMAZING show that I forgot to come up!) Then I sang the song "Fearless" by Taylor Swift in my beautiful orange Taylor Swift dress =] (Thank you to my Mom and Dad for helping me pick from 100s of Taylor songs on the way over! I love you both very much!!) After my song I watched the rest of the show from the audience with my parents, Stephanie, Tiffany (my cousin and the opening number coreographer) and many other family members from the Antelope Valley who came to watch me sing and Tif dance =]. The winner was Hannah Fernquist! Whose twin sister is Miss High Deserts Outstanding Teen! What a happy family they must be! After the pageant, I took my crown and banner off and went to a late dinner with family who was there and had a BLAST! Thank you so much to all that were there! Especially my Mom, Dad, Stephanie and Tiffany! I will never forget that night!!!

Had a blast watching Miss California!

My road trip to Fresno to watch my friends compete for Miss California and Miss California's Outstanding Teen was awesome! I really enjoyed it and although I was a little bit sad that I wasn't up there like last year it was okay because I have a title and I know that I am not ready to compete against those girls! I am too young and they are too amazing!!! they all did so well and are so beautiful!! I want to congratulate Carly you are so beautiful and your talent was AMAZING! also to Kaylan and Jasmine you both made me proud to be from the Ventura County and Canejo Valley cheering section! and a BIG congrats to Ebony for making top 12!!!! that is amazing!!! we were screaming for you!!! and CONGRATS to Shelby Sinkler and Arianna Afsar our new Miss California's Outstanding Teen and Miss California! I know you will do amazing at Miss America and Miss America's Outstanding Teen!!! xoxo!!

Off to Fresno!

Tomorrow I am heading to the Miss California Pageant in Fresno with my Mommy and Jen Waters!! I am so excited!!! I can't wait to see who will go on to Miss America and make us proud! Good Luck to all the girls and I can't wait to see all of my old friends! =] xoxo
